At supper, talking with a Chinese man, and as he is trying very hard with English, he is also trying to be polite, asking about home and family. Yet, as he sits there, struggling with words, asking if I will go home for holidays, it appears as though he may cry. I think he misses his family, and that English is very hard for him. Bam. Straight in the feels.
Well, I'm looking forward to college, having attended orientation I had the opportunity to meet some of my future classmates. More specifically, I met some of my major classmates. I feel rather giddy having learned that out of the 34,000 people that applied this year, only 5,400 were accepted, and I am one of them.
