My sister has a wonderful, energetic and loving dog. Thursday she will be regrettably taken back to the Humane Society in Sioux Falls, where she would be killed, simply because she has just outgrown the puppy stage. She's not an old dog, but she's passed her puppy size. She is a lovely dog that needs space to run about, people or other well trained dogs to interact with, and somebody that won't abandon her or abuse her. If you or anybody you know fits this and wishes to know more, please fill out the form below.
College is very expensive, and right now things are looking bad for my continued attendance here at the University of Minnesota. Anybody that happens across this, please donate to either my PayPal link or to this site here. http://www.gofundme.com/michaeljunkercollegefund
It's all appreciated immensely. Thank you! At supper, talking with a Chinese man, and as he is trying very hard with English, he is also trying to be polite, asking about home and family. Yet, as he sits there, struggling with words, asking if I will go home for holidays, it appears as though he may cry. I think he misses his family, and that English is very hard for him. Bam. Straight in the feels.
Everybody and anybody that reads this should absolutely go here. http://theoatmeal.com/blog/30
Wish this man a wonderful birthday, read some comics and maybe browse his store. He's got skill. College is quickly arriving, my classes start shortly into September, and I find myself in an interesting situation. I have discovered that things are incredibly expensive! I have made this discovery upon purchasing things for college. I suppose I should have been somewhat aware of this upon seeing tuition costs. But I digress. I have posted a donation button for all those that visit this site, and want to help me out. I appreciate every bit.
Well, I'm looking forward to college, having attended orientation I had the opportunity to meet some of my future classmates. More specifically, I met some of my major classmates. I feel rather giddy having learned that out of the 34,000 people that applied this year, only 5,400 were accepted, and I am one of them.
Soon I'm graduating, and off to college I'll go! I'm excited, but still a part of me is apprehensive, seeing as all I've known all my life is living with my parents, and attending elementary/high school.
Just a video I took while I was up in Duluth. We (my family) drove up to Split Rock Lighthouse, and we escaped the crowds to get some peace. http://xkcd.com/320/
This is one of my favorite webcomics to read, and this is the solution to get through college! |
